Dobie Middle School Mariachi
“Los Mariachi Correcaminos”

We offer Mariachi at Dobie Middle School to students in 7th or 8th grade who have one year experience in band, orchestra, or guitar.

In Mariachi, students will learn to sing and understand the fundamentals of music through cultural connectivity, musical terminology in both English and Spanish, music theory, and basic rhythms within mariachi music. This is a performance based class. Everyone is required to participate in performances, concerts or shows.

 

CLASS SCHEDULE 

Mariachi Meets on A Days and C Days during 1st period and occasionally has after school rehearsals. For all updates and details, be sure to join the Band App. Ask Mrs. Urbano for more details.
